L+J’s Banff camp wedding was oh so dreamy! I’d been wanting to shoot a wedding at a campground for ages and it turns out that they make for truly amazing wedding venues. I loved how easy going and relaxed the day was. Lauren and Jeff got ready together at their campsite (which is impressive!), they had their first look behind their tent followed by the ceremony at a hand picked location surrounded by mountains, family and their dogs. After some portraits we went back to camp for a delicious vegan meal, homemade sangria and wine. Loved everything about this day and of course I was so thrilled to witness my two friends get married. Here’s what Lauren and Jeff had to say about their day:
“We wanted our wedding day to be as relaxed and fun as possible, something where everyone could be comfy and the dogs could be a part of the day. Having a campground wedding was the perfect thing for us; down-to-earth, stress-free, and a little dirty (haha). I think the favourite thing about our wedding day was that it was at one of our favourite spots in Alberta, at the first campground we ever camped at together, in the mountains. And the fact that we were camping the whole weekend with the dogs made it super unique for our wedding!”
